Making: Hopefully nothing! Maybe my husband will cook.
Drinking: Water. I’m fancy like that.
Reading: I just finished Sarah J. Maas’ A Court of Thorn and Roses trilogy and really enjoyed it, which surprised me.
Organizing: This year’s travel plans. Still. Though airfare has been purchased. I may have mentioned that I over plan when it comes to these things.
Coveting: Despite the baby being over five months old, I’m still not entirely back to where I’d like to be (from both a health and size standpoint). So I’m currently coveting a new wardrobe, but realistically I’d just like to fit into what I own.
Listening: The Dead South // I’ll Be in Good Company
Watching: The White Princess, though I’m worried it’s going to ruin the history for me.
Smelling: Books. I’m on a break at work. In my next working life, I’m choosing a job that requires few weekends.
Wishing: For my hair to grow! I got a really unfortunate haircut the other day, now to wait for it to regrow.
Loving: Starting and hopefully finishing productive projects, especially in the house and yard.
Adoring: Being a mother. I genuinely love it, even when they drive me crazy. I’m also forever thankful to have fellow night owl children who do not get up early.
Accomplishing: As we approach the end of another school year, I will enjoy the fact that my children have yet to be late. It’s the little things.
Needing: Home repair. A hail storm (with near baseball sized hail), went through my neighborhood and seriously damaged my house and car.
Feeling: Exhausted!
Wanting: These shoes. Please and thank you (maybe a tad out of my normal price range).
Wondering: How much longer Sean Spicer can last. I mean, honestly…
Thinking: How costly being a homeowner is. Still. This thought has been on repeat for the last several months.
Celebrating: Mother’s Day. Happy Mother’s Day to everyone who celebrates it, and a hug for everyone who struggles with this day.

Ooooh I’m also watching The White Princess while simultaneously reading an actual history on the period so that my brain doesn’t cement the facts of the dramatization. haha
That’s terrible about the hail storm. My mom lives in Montana and gets some really crazy hail storms and until she sends me pictures of the hail it’s really hard to comprehend. Hope it doesn’t end up being too costly.
And thank you for cluing me in to The Dead South… never heard of them but I quite like them.

I like the fact that Henry and Elizabeth, historically speaking, were happy, especially for an arranged marriage. I keep worrying the show is going to make them hate each other, similar to Gregory’s book (which, admittedly, I didn’t finish).
I found The Dead South because I found Parker Millsap, who is also worth a listen (if you haven’t already).
Also, I believe I have you to thank for reading Maas’ series! (Your Beauty and the Beast retelling recs, maybe?)

I expected to not…hate the series, but not enjoy it so much (I got the first one on a kindle deal and then was sucked in, of course). The last book wrapped it up well enough, but dragged a bit in the middle towards the end.

The White Queen was good. I really enjoyed it. Glad that Starz was able to continue the story too, I think they’ve done a great job with shows lately.
Ha, I also picked it up on a Kindle deal. I just read somewhere about The Lady of the Rivers being the first in the series and I haven’t gotten my hands on that one yet.

Re: accomplishing – I agree, it’s the little things – they might go largely unnoticed until they’re NOT being accomplished and then the wheels really fall off!

I’ve had a lot of evening shifts at the library lately, which means my husband’s been handling all of the sport practices (every single day except Sunday, good grief). I think he appreciates me a bit more now that he has to run everywhere and not me (though he can’t seem to manage practice and dinner, which secretly pleases me).
